Louise’s story – Baby Loss Awareness Week

Louise’s story

Louise’s story

I had two early miscarriages in 2020.Unbeknown to me at the time, the medication I was on (sertraline) can cause heart defects in pregnancy and also sometimes lung defects too. Going with the timing of when both pregnancies failed, they happened when the babies’ hearts should have started beating.Luckily my husband and I have a son born in 2016. He is happy, healthy and an absolute joy (incidentally I was not on Sertraline whilst pregnant with him).I made a memorial in my garden for my two angels.
