Kayleigh’s story – Baby Loss Awareness Week

Kayleigh’s story

Kayleigh’s story

Friday 31st May 2019 at 20 weeks and 3 days I gave birth to the most beautiful sleeping baby boy. I will never forget those words the midwife said to me when she told me my baby no longer had a heart beat.

Our exciting faces waiting for the midwife to tell us if we was having a boy or girl suddenly changed to shocked and tears down our faces. All mine and Daryls’ hopes and wishes for our little baby just got ripped away from us. I just felt numb. I will never forget the pain I went through of giving birth for my little boy to just get taken away from me. Leaving the hospital with just a memory box. Freddie will have no idea how much he was loved by his Mummy and Daddy!

When I became pregnant this was the last thing I ever imagined to happen, it still feels like I’m still in a bad dream.Freddie Taylor, still born, still loved and you will never be forgotten👼🏼
