Clair’s story – Baby Loss Awareness Week

Clair’s story

Clair’s story

I had a missed miscarriage at 11+2 weeks pregnant. On 23/2/23 I heard the words nobody ever wants to hear, “I’m sorry there is no heartbeat”. My whole world shattered in one second. I chose to have the surgical option and was booked in for the next day. Although I never had the baby’s gender confirmed, I was convinced it was a boy and chose the name Oliver Philip for him. With the help of my mum, we arranged a small funeral for him and I have a place where I can go and bring his sisters too. He will always be a part of our family and will never be forgotten.
