29 Sep Jessica’s story
I was driving home from work when I had a sudden onset of abdominal pain, I got home and couldn’t walk or stand. We rang for an ambulance and I was taken to hospital, the nurses could not get my blood pressure up and I was hypo-tensive. I did a pregnancy test and it was positive. The nurses congratulated me. An hour later they returned and said it could be ectopic and I needed a scan. They couldn’t see anything as my abdomen was so full of blood. The pain I felt was my tube rupturing. I didn’t know I was pregnant. Emergency surgery removed my left fallopian tube, baby and hopes of being a mummy once again.
