15 Aug Josephine’s Story
We have lost our four angels and I have felt so alone in this. But I want to normalise it and I hope it helps others. Our first two were lost at home through a natural miscarriage and it wasn’t till much later I really understood the affect this had on us and our journey to being parents.
August 2019 we were expecting again, unfortunately in October 2019 we found out we had a missed miscarriage. I had surgery to remove this pregnancy because my body was in no rush to get rid of this pregnancy on its own.
We were finally referred to a specialist for multiple miscarriages.
In May 2020 we found out we were expecting again. At our six-week scan, we got a heartbeat which was a first for us. Then at our 12-week scan, we found I had another missed miscarriage.
Following surgery, I found out I had a partial molar pregnancy.
This meant I had to have more surgery and I am currently still being observed for this.
I don’t know what is next for us, but I am still a proud mam of those 4 little angels.
